Concept 2026 · Real estate
Qirat Private Estates
Prime homes in Dubai and Riyadh, in English and Arabic

Story Case study
Overview
Qirat Private Estates is a self-initiated concept: a private real estate advisory for prime villas, penthouses and estates, headquartered in Dubai with a second office in Riyadh. I designed and built a fully bilingual website, English and Arabic with a proper right-to-left layout, across properties, individual listings, communities, services, valuation, offices, a journal and contact.
The challenge
Buyers in the Gulf compare advisors quickly, and trust is everything: they want to know a home has been properly checked before they spend time on it. The site also had to work equally well in English and Arabic, which means more than translating text: layout direction, type, numbers and currencies all change. And it had to feel distinctly Gulf without leaning on clichés.
What I built
- A 24-point standard behind every listing, shown as a dial that ticks to 24/24 as you scroll, and as a small assay chip on each property card
- English and Arabic versions of every page, with right-to-left layouts and Arabic typography that keeps every letter readable
- Prices in the visitor's choice of currency with live exchange rates, defaulting to dirhams in Dubai and riyals in Riyadh
- A property match quiz, side-by-side compare for up to three homes, recently viewed homes and a quick price check
- A map of listings, live office hours and local weather for both offices, and a gallery lightbox on every listing
- A cinematic hero, a minimal navigation that becomes a slim bar on scroll, and a split call to action for buyers and sellers
Design & build
The name means carat, so the brand is built on measurement: the 24-point standard, tick rulers, a rotating verified seal and a quiet Gulf lattice pattern. The Pearl and sea palette pairs a soft pearl background with a deep khor green and brass details. Archivo, in a wide cut, carries the English headlines and Alexandria the Arabic. It is a fast static site generated from one bilingual content file, so English and Arabic always stay in step, and it was tested in both directions from small phones to large desktops.
What it delivers
Qirat shows how a luxury property brand can serve two languages and two markets without compromise: buyers get the same considered experience whether they read left to right or right to left, and every home arrives with a clear reason to trust it. It's a complete multipage website built for an international audience.
